Take your video chat to the next level with FACEOFF: an epic challenge to keep your hands away from your face.
Can’t stop touching your face? Meet FACEOFF: the hygiene battle royale we all never knew we needed. The CDC recommends that you avoid touching your face with your hands to prevent the spread of germs and disease. We all slip up from time to time, but FACEOFF is here to remind us not to. The objective? Simple. The challenge? Extreme.
Our easy-to-install Chrome extension makes not touching your face into a hilarious competition that will keep you entertained (and free of face touching) during your meetings and virtual hang outs. Simply install the extension, launch your meeting, and compete against your friends. Every time you touch your face, you’ll hear a laser sound and get docked a point on the leaderboard. The game will update in real time, announce the winner, and spit out a GIF at the end to share.

About this project:
FACEOFF is the third project of our “Cabin Fever” series. During this pandemic, we’re applying our creative engineering expertise to some exploratory work. Some of it is aiming to help solve real challenges that the medical community is facing, and some are maker projects that inject a little bit of fun into all of our lives. Like so many people right now, we hope to use what we have to provide others with help, solutions, or just a bit of joy.
