Google Store Chelsea’s sandbox exhibits showcase the latest Pixel and Nest features.
In 2021, Google opened its first-ever permanent retail store on the ground floor of their NYC headquarters in Chelsea. Deeplocal worked as a creative technology partner, creating hands-on interactive experiences to demonstrate the capabilities of Google products.
In 2023, we worked with Google to refresh the sandbox exhibits, which enable visitors to explore Google products in context. The Pixel Sandbox uses immersive projections to demo Pixel Fold’s impressive camera capabilities, including Rear Camera Selfies, the Translate lens, and Long Exposure. The Nest Sandbox is a monochromatic, simulated living room with multiple devices and call-to-action prompts that show guests how Pixel Tablet creates an integrated entertainment experience at home. And, the Woogle Maker in the Imagination Space pulls color palettes from visitor selfies to create one-of-a-kind, custom phone wallpapers.
