A robot-powered getaway allows people to spend three minutes in Italy from thousands of miles away.

San Pellegrino wanted fans to experience their country of origin, so we built a telepresent three-minute vacation in Italy. A custom Facebook app enabled users to wander the piazzas of Sicily via remotely controlled robots equipped with two-way cameras and translators. With low-latency streaming, users interacted with local Italians in real time.
