A content series where YouTubers put their own spin on Google’s Custom Routines.

To show how Custom Routines for Google Assistant can make everyday life easier, we enlisted the help of six popular YouTube Creators. We created personalized Custom Routines and tricked out studios for their videos. These spaces included a glam space created for Jackie Aina, a sketch comedy set for Lele Pons, an ’80s-inspired disco stage for pop icon Todrick Hall, a science lab for The Action Lab, a slime dreamland for Karina Garcia, and a DIY greenhouse for The Sorry Girls.

Each creator had their own playful, personal Custom Routine. For example, The Sorry Girls’ Custom Routine of “Hey Google, pamper my plants” turned on the grow lights, watering system, and humidifier; rotated the turntables; adjusted the Nest thermostat; opened the blinds; and played jungle sounds. To make it easy for people to recreate what they saw, Google also created How-To content inspired by each creator’s video.
